Q: Has anyone bought the new Acura MDX?
Has anyone bought the new Acura MDX. I am interested in getting one which is fully loaded . Am curious about the price

A: I havn’t bought one but I have sold a few. They are awesome. Fully loaded with the Sport and Entertainment pkg you are looking at a price around $49,800 plus dealer installed options. In most markets the price is non negotiable due to its high demand.

Q: how much would it cost to fill up the tank of a new Acura MDX?

A: Well, it has a 21 gallon tank, so you can subtract the gallons you have left and multiply it by your area’s fuel prices. I just filled up my MDX with premium the other day and it was $65.

Q: I am looking at purchasing a new 2006 Acura MDX Touring w/Nav – what is the best price I can get on this?
Purchase NOT lease, new … what is the best pricing with rebates, incentives, etc that I can get on this vehicle. Any options other options to consider? I want to buy one this week but not waste my time getting screwed in negotiations! Just the best price period … anybody know the bottom line?

Q: Which do you think is better for a mom with kids? The Lexus RX350AWD or the new 2007 Acura MDX?
I have norrowed it down to these two models. I’ll be buying mid 2007.

A: The RX350 has 270hp and gets 24mpg hwy.
The MDX has 300hp and gets 22mpg hwy.

The MDX has a third row seat, RX does not.
The MDX has about 40% more passenger volume.
The RX has slightly more cargo volume.

The MDX has GPS with real-time traffic (3 months free then montly fees required), RX does not.

The RX is slightly more expensive equipped similarly but can be bought right now at $6-7k discount. You’ll have to pay MSRP for the MDX possibly for the next 2 years.

Q: Is this a good deal? for a 2009 new acura mdx base with msrp of $41800 for $36200 or can i go lower?

A: Invoice in my area is $37,252. Don’t know where you are but it seems like a good buy.

Q: Would you buy a new Acura MDX?
Most likely a 2011 or 2012 model. With the Tech package. And please no pro-American propaganda crap, just advice.
I don’t want the Honda version (Pilot) because it has poor visibility.

A: Absolutely.

A: MSRP for the 2007 MDX with the Tech package is $43,495, and the invoice price is $39,212. I’d say somewhere between the two, preferably closer to invoice, would be a fair price, but it also depends on where you live, and being that Acura is a luxury marque, it might a little more difficult to haggle the price down.

Q: Does anyone know when the new 2011 Acura mdx is coming out?

A: They will start arriving at dealers in September.

Considering to buy a new Acura MDX, and learned that Acura is going to come with an all new MDX for 2007. Any insights you can share, that will help. Thanks.

A: I have heard the new MDX will come out around November as a 2007 model. Still have yet to find any pictures but rumours are it will have 3.8 liters, close to 300 hp and stay as a 7 seater. It’s not much but maybe enough to consider waiting.

Q: Should I buy a 2001 and newer Tahoe or a 2003 and newer Acura MDX? Will a Tahoe run as long as an Acura? Thx!?
I am in a tizzy over this! I love the Tahoe, but I do not trust that it will outlast my payments (4-5 years). From experience, I know that Hondas are very reliable cars. I feel that a foreign car will be a better investment?

Can a Tahoe or Yukon run for 200000 miles as effortlessly as a Honda? Thx!

A: The Acura is hands down a more reliable, better built higher quality vehicle.

Keeping a Tahoe for 200K miles will be a real exercise in patience, love and expense. That’s not to say the Acura will never break down, of course it will but when they both make it to 200K, the Acura will get there with more grace.

Q: Is an 2002 Acura mdx a good car I’m 24 an looking for a new car an really like the 2002 Acura mdx?
l love the 2002 Acura mdx I know acuras are suppose to be reliable cars

A: In general they are good vehicles. However, This model is prone to have transmission failure. Oddly enough Honda Motor Corp., has a Technical Sevice Bulletin to replace the transmissions on every Honda and Acura vehicle with the H5 automatic transmission except the MDX. If yours goes out, it’s money out of your pocket. On the other hand, I know alot of people with these SUVs and only a few have had any problems with the transmissions.

Q: Acura MDX Brake problems after new Rotors pads?
I recently installed new 4 rotors and brake pads for my Acura MDX. Everything works fine even now. But within a week after installation a screeching noise started to come only if I come to a complete stop or release my vehicle from a complete stop. I checked with the technician and he told it is normal. But I am pretty much sure either something is not right or I am missing some info. I appreciate if someone could clarify.
All 4 new Rotors and all 4 new brake pads was installed.

Q: My muffler is hitting the new trailer hitch I have just installed on my 2003 Acura MDX. How to fix it?

A: Look under the car,your muffler should have rubber hanger rings. Try using a smaller rubber ring hangers or bigger which ever meets your need,to achive more space between your muffler and the hitch.That is an easy quick and cheap fix,as these rubber ring hangers are shelf item,at auto zone.
